| Ingredients |
shrimp, pickled jalepeno peppers, bacon, Italian dressing, wood or metal skewers and a squirt bottle filled with water |
| Directions |
Fresh Shrimp (doesn't matter how many, need 1 per 1/2 slice of bacon)
1 pkg of bacon
1 jar or can of pickled jalepeno peppers
1 bottle of Italian salad dressing
4-5 wooden or metal skewers
A squirt bottle filled with water
Prep time: 20-30 minutes
Cook time: 20-30 minutes
If using the wooden skewers, make sure you soak them in water for at least 20 minutes so they don't catch fire when putting them on the grill!
Devein the shrimp, then butterfly.
Cut the bacon package into 1/2. Don't use an entire strip for one shrimp.
Cut the jalepeno peppers into quarters. Place one quarter of the jalepeno inside the shrimp then wrap with bacon. Put on the skewer. You can fit 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
Pour Italian dressing over the shrimp and let marinate for at least a couple of hours.
Turn the grill onto low. Put the skewers on the grill. You have to watch these closely because the bacon drippings in the grill will cause the flames to shoot up, this is why you need a squirt bottle to extinguish them! Grill until the bacon is done.
